The Forest Club sponsored an "eco-friendly" Parol Making Contest among Prep to Grade 3 classes, and a Belen Making Contest among Grade 4 to Grade 6 classes of our neighboring Puypuy Elementary School. Each class worked on a single entry, and were asked to use recycled materials.
The entry from Grade 2 which made ordinary twigs look extraordinarily beautiful, won first prize in the Parol Category. While the Belen created by the Grade 5 class, turning used baby powder canisters into figurines, took top honors in their level.
All students from each winning class shall win a set of bi-lingual illustrated storybooks from Adarna Publishing.
